The Riverdale girls quest for a fourth state championship in a row ends with a 78-72 double overtime loss to Houston.

Trailing by 10 at the half, the Lady Warriors came roaring back, winning the third quarter by 14-points to take their first lead of the game.

Eagleville girls suffer a heartbreaking two-point loss in the quarterfinals of the Blue Cross Basketball Championships.

Midway defeated the Lady Eagles 53-51 after leading by double digits in the second half.

The Riverdale girls downed Arlington (67-50) as they began their quest for a fourth Class AAA state championship in a row:

The Lady Warriors had a 29-27 lead at halftime Wednesday afternoon, holding off the Lady Tigers who trailed by 10 at one point.

RALPH STOUT TO BE INDUCTED INTO
NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME

HERMITAGE– – – Longtime game official, Ralph Stout, will become the twelfth person and third official from the state of Tennessee to be inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame.

The Oakland and Eagleville boys basketball teams are state tournament bound, while bids for Blackman and Central Magnet fall short. Bryan Barrett had the call of the end of the Patriot's game with East Hamilton:

2019 TSSAA Boys’ Basketball Hotel Information

The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce/Convention and Visitors Bureau in Murfreesboro, Tennessee will take calls for the hotel assignments as follows:

Riverdale and Eagleville both make it to the state's final eight in girl's basketball while Oakland's bid falls just short. Providence Christian claims the Division II state title.

The Lady Warriors cruised to a 65-45 win over Stone Memorial and will make their fourth appearance in the TSSAA State Championships this week.
