Blackman senior and Connecticut signee Crystal Dangerfield adds another award to the list of honors.
She was named Wednesday the 2016 Morgan Wootten Player of the Year. The national honor comes the day after she won her second Class Triple-A Miss Basketball in a row. Dangerfield is also a finalist for the Naismith Player of the Year Award for high school girls. The announcement for that award comes Thursday.
