It was a tale of two halves for the Siegel Stars versus the Ravenwood Raptors Thursday night to open the prep football season in Rutherford County. Tailback Rodney Murray ran for 160 of his 170 yards in the first half as the Stars took a 12-7 lead into halftime.

But the Raptors would get their passing game going in the second half as quarterback McClain Marrow threw for over 400-yards and edged Siegel.

Be sure to tune in Friday night for La Vergne at Smyrna football, then Saturday for Riverdale vs. Ooltewah and Oakland vs. Jackson Northside from MTSU. It's part of our four game opening weekend on WGNS State Farm Prep Football.
