Providence Christian Academy varsity boys and varsity girls basketball teams recently completed their season with Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference (MTAC) championship titles. Both teams also placed 5th in the recent National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA) national tournament held in Dayton, TN.

The NACA tournament includes teams from successful Christian athletic programs throughout the country.

The PCA Lady Lions have grown each year during Coach Tara James tenure. This growth has been highlighted by their MTAC regular season championship. In the last three years the Lady Lions have finished twice as runner-up in the MTAC and twice as regular season champions.

The PCA Lions varsity boys team has also grown under the leadership of Coach David Farrar. Former Idaho basketball coach, David Farrar came out of retirement to coach the PCA boys varsity basketball team. The team's five seniors Kipp Swafford, Isaiah Eguaebor, Ethan Hennis, David Shepard, and Trey McMurry have won 50 games in two years and are back to back regular season and tournament MTAC champions.

PCA varsity girls basketball 2015-2016 record 17-10.

Providence Christian Academy, founded in 1996, is an academically advanced, inter-denominational classical Christian school.
