TEAM LODGING – Click here for a list of hotels. Schools are responsible for making their own hotel accommodations.

PARKING – There will be signs posted directing team buses where to park once they arrive at the Murfreesboro Sports Complex and McKnight Fields. Parking passes for the schools qualifying for the state tournament will be included in the team packets. Those without parking passes will be charged $5 per day for parking.

GENERAL ADMISSION – All tickets are general admission.  Admission is $10 per day.

TEAM PACKETSTeam packets will be available for pick-up at the field where teams will play their first game.  There will no longer be an off- site location for advanced packet pick-up.  The team packets contain credentials and information for coaches which will allow them into all events at the TSSAA Spring Fling.

COACHES’ PASSES & ENTRY FOR PARTICIPANTS – No physical credentials will be issued to participants this year.  Each participating team may bring in 25 individuals free of charge as part of their team party.   Each registered TSSAA coach will receive a Spring Fling Coach Credential in their team packet, and those wearing this credential do not count as part of the 25 admitted in the team party.  The head coach will be required to sign in their team upon arrival.  A participating school will be charged $10 per person per day for individuals in excess of 25.  This charge will appear on your school’s TSSAA Portal the week after Spring Fling.

If a team wishes to go to another Spring Fling venue after their game, they must get a handstamp before they leave the venue where they played their game.

TOURNAMENT SQUAD – Tournament squads are limited to a maximum of 20 players.

TOURNAMENT BRACKET – A copy of the state tournament bracket can be found on the TSSAA Championship website. The fields and game times are listed on the bracket. If more than one game is listed on a field, it will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the preceding game.

The top team in the bracket will sit in the first base dugout; the bottom team will sit in the third base dugout. Upon arrival at the tournament site, there will be a coin toss conducted by the tournament director or the game umpire to determine the home and visiting team for each game. There will be a 10 minute warm-up period for throwing in the outfield area prior to teams being instructed to take infield. The visiting team will take infield 20 minutes prior to game time for 10 minutes. The home team will then take infield for 10 minutes. We will then have the pregame conference and final field preparations (no warm-up in live ball territory during the pregame conference).

By mutual agreement of the opposing coaches and the umpire-in-chief, any remaining play may be shortened at any time or the game terminated.

A suspended game shall be continued from the point of suspension.

LINE-UPS – Coaches should have their lineup written out and ready to be given to the scorer (press box), opposing coach, and umpire during pregame conference following infield.

UMPIRES – The umpires shall be assigned by the state office.

TEAM COOLERS – Team coolers will be allowed in the park.

PRACTICE – NO PRACTICE OR WARM-UPS WILL BE ALLOWED BEHIND THE PLAYING FIELDS. TEAMS PLAYING ON STARPLEX #1, #2, #3, AND #4 MUST WARM-UP ON SPORTSCOM FIELD #5. VIDEO CAMERAS – Video taping or filming is permitted as long as the taping or filming is for private use or use by the two schools involved and not for public or commercial use. Video taping or filming must be done from the individual’s seat. Individuals will not be allowed to use tripods. A school taping or filming its own game may use a tripod. A school will not be allowed to tape or film a game unless its team is involved in the game. All taping or filming by a school may be approved by the local Game Director, and the Game Director shall assign space, when available, from which to tape or film.
