The 2016 state champion and 2017 runner up in Class AAA baseball make a return in 2018 to the TSSAA Championships.

Siegel brings their 30-8 record into the tournament, defeating Cookeville 7-1 in the sectional to advance get to state.

They will take on Rossview, who is making their first ever appearance in Spring Fling. The Stars opening game is Tuesday at 6:30pm. They will play their games at Siegel. They are the 2016 state champion in Class AAA baseball.

Stewarts Creek is making their third appearance in as many years in the state tournament. The Red Hawks, who finished runner up to Brentwood last year and were in the final four in 2016, defeated Bradley Central in Cleveland 14-2 on Saturday. Stewarts Creek will open tournament play Tuesday at 4pm versus Arlington. They will play their games at Oakland.

Jon Dinkins and Bryan Barrett will have coverage of both opening round games Tuesday on State Farm Prep Sports. They'll follow both teams as far as they go in the tournament.
